About Linda Kingsbury PhD

From Linda’s journal: “Once you are touched by the love of a horse, you will never be the same. Your heart will heal and your life will change.”

Dr Dr Kingsbury teaches from a practicing Christian world view allowing the grace of God to be present in her personal and professional life. This contributes to the sacred space of possibility where the hand of God touches all willing hearts. She shares the fruits of the Spirit: “Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control” in all her work by example naturally encouraging others to develop the fruits in their own lives. She  has dedicated her life to supporting people in building their health naturally and living a spirit filled life. Her specialty is working with empathic and bioenergy sensitive people. Her work expands to getting out of the office and into the outdoors to experiencing horse heart connections.

She began her Equine Assisted Program training with Kathy Pike's Coaching with Horses in 2010 and completed her Epona Quest Equine Facilitated Learning Practitioner Training in 2012 with Linda Kohanov and staff in Amado, Arizona. She has also trained with Dr. Alan Hamilton author of Zen Horse Zen Mind in Tucson, Arizona. In 2013 she completed the Equine Specialist and Mental Health Training Program with PATH International in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Dr Kingsbury has worked with the Nez Perce Tribal Youth Program and  Nimiipuu Health Behavioral Health Services providing Equine Assisted Activities for at risk youth as well as the Nimiipuu Health Drug and Alcohol Program.  She was hired under a SAMHSA Meth and Suicide prevention grant to work with the students and their families including veterans, parents with addictions and cancer. She worked with at risk youth as well as autistic children in the programs.

She has volunteered her skills at horse rescues including Equine Voices Rescue and Sanctuary in Amado Arizona and Orphan Acres in Viola Idaho. She has also shared her skills  at Washington State University Vet Clinic in Pullman, Washington. She was a volunteer horse handler for heart coherence research measuring heart rate variables during joint activities between horses and humans in a University of Arizona research project in Sonoita Arizona.

Whether in North Idaho, Arizona or Hawaii,  Dr Kingsbury offers life-changing opportunities to strengthen communication in all areas of your life. Bringing spiritual awareness into the way that you interact with all life cultivates respectful relationships.  She offers  once a year tropical adventures in Hawaii giving you the opportunity to experience join-up with both horses and wild marine life (dolphins, turtles, manarays) in sessions that naturally expand your consciousness and awareness as a full sensory being.
